However, when the occasion does arise, the following Windows tools and third-party apps will be the most handy methods to find out your motherboard model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"use-sys-info\">Use the System Information Tool to Find the Motherboard Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s a tool within Windows called <strong>System Information<\/strong>. You can find all information about your computer, including the motherboard brand and model number. This makes it useful when you want to <a href=\"https:\/\/maketecheasier.com\/check-pc-specs-windows\/\" data-lasso-id=\"58998\">check PC specs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Press the <kbd>Win<\/kbd> + <kbd>R<\/kbd> keys to open the Run window. In this window, type <code>msinfo32<\/code> and press <kbd>Enter<\/kbd>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The System Information window will appear. However, you can run a Windows Registry query to extract the motherboard model information from the Registry using Command Prompt. However, it won&#8217;t list the motherboard manufacturer&#8217;s name. To find the motherboard manufacturer&#8217;s name, use the following command instead:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>reg query \"HKLM\\HARDWARE\\DESCRIPTION\\System\\BIOS\" \/v BaseBoardManufacturer<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"powershell-command\">Find Motherboard Model Using a PowerShell Command<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also reveal the motherboard model using a <a href=\"https:\/\/maketecheasier.com\/essential-powershell-commands\/\" data-lasso-id=\"59000\">PowerShell command<\/a>. The model number is written next to <strong>Product<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"third-party-tools\">Use Third-Party Tools to Find Motherboard Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want an easy way to get the motherboard information, third-party tools can help.
