It can be a Chromebook, Windows, or Mac computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A USB drive (pen drive) or SD Card with at least 8GB of free space. Please use the USB drive that you don&#8217;t mind formatting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chrome browser installed on the working computer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With everything handy, follow these steps to download and reinstall Chrome OS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>On the working computer, open the Chrome browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/chromebook-recovery-utili\/jndclpdbaamdhonoechobihbbiimdgai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"31424\">Chromebook Recovery Utility<\/a> extension page.
